I do my best to be my best.

This is the phrase that guides my work, relationships and life. In everything I do I strive to present a final product that is the best it can possibly be. I have learned from mistakes and use that knowledge to make my work stronger. I am always learning, not only to improve my work, but to forge myself as a stronger individual.

As far as design is concerned, I am never one to follow trends; I am never satisfied with my work when it reflects projects being presented in design magazines or other sources. I am not a design rebel, quite the opposite, but following the pack is never the correct solution in my heart. The work I produce, although varied in theme, have similar core elements, which directly reflect who I am and my personal values. My work represents a simple elegance that is the result of reducing the project at hand to its core components, but not falling into a minimalist category. I think there is a lot to be said for not over simplifying a piece, and giving a design a cultural and visual weight that is not directly present when too much is taken away. At the end of the day, my ultimate wish is that my work reflects the client's need while remaining creative and fresh.

I graduated from the Specialized Honors York/Sheridan Joint Programme in Design and hold an H.B.Des degree, prior to that I received my high school diploma from St. Michaels's College School in Toronto.
